Shiloe Viau
WAUSHARA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A man has been convicted and sentenced in Waushara County Court for attempted child abduction.
Police say Shiloe Viau approached several children at Bird Creek Park on June 5, 2024, and tried to leave with one child. Police say he said he was going to “Take them to heaven.”
Viau pleaded no contest to one count of attempting to abduct a child and was sentenced to three years in prison followed by two years of extended supervision.
Police say the case was resolved with the help of public tips.
