Wisconsin Farm Bureau is the trusted voice leading Wisconsin agriculture forward. That is a vision we do not take lightly around here, and that voice begins with the heart of our organization: our members.
Recently, Wisconsin Farm Bureau reached a major membership milestone. For the first time in three decades, WFBF has surpassed 50,000 members. In fact, we are proud to say we are now over 51,000 members strong, with a growth of 2,783 members this year. Even more impressive is that all 61 county Farm Bureaus saw membership gains this year, showing that our message is resonating across the state.
Membership achievements like this do not come about every day—and we wouldn’t be where we are today without the efforts of our members, volunteers and supporters. A membership in Farm Bureau is truly an investment in the future of agriculture. Not only do our members contribute to the largest voice representing Wisconsin agriculture, they are also investing in themselves and their farms.
Our volunteers, county leaders, staff and valued Rural Mutual Insurance agents have worked tirelessly to share the benefits of joining Farm Bureau within their communities. From advocating on behalf of agriculture to taking advantage of leadership opportunities, every new member strengthens the voice of Wisconsin’s agricultural industry.
At Farm Bureau, we empower the Wisconsin agricultural community through grassroots membership to preserve and promote the advancement of agriculture. With our growing membership base, we are better positioned than ever to offer a variety of programs and opportunities—whether it’s leadership development, legislative advocacy or money-saving member benefits. Our growth allows us to continue achieving our goals while expanding our impact. Each new member enhances our ability to advocate for policy that supports agriculture and rural communities across the state.
This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication and passion of our members. They are the backbone of our organization, and their efforts keep moving us forward. We also want to recognize our membership volunteers, such as Trayton Greenfield in Fond du Lac County, whose personal outreach contribute to this record growth. The commitment from every corner of the state makes our work successful.
As we celebrate surpassing 51,000 members, we are focused on what’s ahead. We’re building a new frontier at Wisconsin Farm Bureau, one where we continue to lead agriculture with an even stronger voice and deeper roots in our local communities with this new growth.
For members joining us for the first time, I encourage you to get involved—whether through local leadership, our policy development process or taking advantage of one of our Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation supported programs. Your involvement ensures Farm Bureau remains the trusted voice for the future of Wisconsin agriculture.
To those who helped us reach this incredible milestone—thank you. Your support empowers us to keep growing, advocating and leading Wisconsin agriculture into a bright and prosperous future.
