WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A 16-year-old girl has been identified as the victim in this week’s house fire in Wisconsin Rapids.
Carolina Oliva died in the blaze, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department.

She was one of four people inside the home when the blaze broke out early Wednesday morning. Three people managed to get out safely. Oliva and her dog died.
A GoFundMe has been established for Oliva’s final expenses and to help the family rebuild. Cash and clothing donations can also be made in person at La Taqueria restaurants in Wisconsin Rapids and Wausau.
The home is considered a total loss.
The State Fire Marshal and Wisconsin Rapids Fire Department are investigating the incident. No cause has been determined, but they do believe it was accidental.
Crews from multiple departments including Wisconsin Rapids, Grand Rapids, Nekoosa, Rudolph, and Vesper responded to the fire.
