MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Ryland Mosley scored one goal and assisted on three others as the Wisconsin Badger men’s hockey team defeated Alaska-Anchorage 7-1 inside the Kohl Center on Friday.
Gavin Morrissey and Kyle Kukkonen each scored two goals. Morrissey added two assists as well.
Quinn Finley added a goal and two assists. Cody Laskosky rounded out the scoring with a goal late in the 3rd period.
Tommy Scarfone made 18 saves in net to earn the win.
Two of Wisconsin’s seven goals came on the power play.
Wisconsin is now 5-8-0 overall and has won three straight following last weekend’s series sweep at Penn State. The Badgers and Seawolves will play again tonight in Madison.
The Badger Women are spending Thanksgiving weekend in Maine, where they scored a 9-0 blowout victory over the Black Bears.
Three Badgers scored two goals each; Caroline Harvey, Kirsten Simms, and Laila Edwards. All three recorded multiple assists as well.
Kelly Gorbatenko and Sarah Wozniewicz both scored a goal and recorded a helper.
Ava McNaughton went 42 minutes in net to pickup the win for Wisconsin, making 22 saves. Quinn Kuntz finished the game and made two saves.
Wisconsin and Maine will close out the weekend series this afternoon.
