TOWN OF BRADLEY, WI (WSAU) — A Tomahawk man is dead following a single-vehicle rollover crash near County Road CC and Peaceful Valley Road in the Town of Bradley.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s officers say they received a call at around 9:50 Monday night from someone who happened across a rolled vehicle in a wooded area near the intersection. The caller also reported that a single passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The victim of the crash has been identified as 21-year-old Nicholas Szymanski of Tomahawk.
Investigators say it appears Szymanski was westbound on CC when he lost control of the vehicle trying to negotiate a curve. He was then ejected from the vehicle as it rolled.
Alcohol and speed are believed to have been factors in the crash. No further information about the crash was released.
