CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Big Ten will rule any games cancelled due to COVID-19 as ‘no contest.’
The conference continues to do extensive testing within programs and if they deem it unsafe to play, teams will not make those games up. The Big Ten is carrying out an eight-game schedule over eight weeks so it would not allow time for makeup games.
In order to compete in the Big Ten Championship, however, teams must play at least six games.
