Well this is a very bitter sweet week for not only you, the listener but for us a well in the radio station. Terry Stevens has accepted a job in Lansing, MI (he's still with Midwest Communications, but he's getting a huge promotion). I've been with this station for a year and a half and Terry has been not only a great dude to work with but also a great friend.
Not to get too much behind the scenes of the workings of the radio station, if you're a rock music fan you know Terry has been a huge part of our sister station Rock 94.7 and he worked his rear end off. I know he will be missed there as well.
Terry was a “go-to” utility player for WDEZ, he's been a staple for your nighttime entertainment. Terry's Triple Play was one of the most recognizable games at night. His dry but funny sense of humor always lit up the airwaves.
Terry was always willing to listen to ideas on how we can make the station better and wasn't afraid to throw his opinion out there to improve in the idea. He helped me tremendously when I first moved here to give me advice and words of encouragement. Without babbling too much, Terry Stevens, thank you good sir for everything you did, not only for 101.9 WDEZ but for the entire company. Now it's your turn, what will you miss the most about Terry? Comment below and thanks for reading.
