TOWN OF SARATOGA, WI (WSAU) On Saturday, April 29th, at 12:48 P.M., Wood County Central Dispatch received the report that a person was located in the Wisconsin River north of Wakely Road in the Township of Saratoga, located in Wood County. The caller reported they were able to bring the person to shore. First Responders then arrived at the location. After assessing the scene, responders determined the death of the deceased woman was Nancy Brost, age 57, of Nekoosa. The cause of death was determined to be from drowning. No suspicious circumstances exist.
