MERRILL, Wis. (WSAU) -- The woman convicted of killing two friends while driving drunk has been released from jail.
A judge modified Ashley Baumann's bond during a motion hearing on Thursday after revoking that bond at the end of the trial against her. Baumann posted $10,000 of a $50,000 cash bond and was released on special conditions
Department of Corrections officials are now putting together a pre-sentence investigation ahead of a August 20th sentencing date.
Baumann was convicted on all counts in the case last month following a two week trial. She faces 25 years in prison on the top counts against her.
