WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) -- The BloodCenter of Wisconsin is again taking blood donations Tuesday in Rothschild, for the third day in the last five. That’s a good indication of how low the blood supply is.
Vicki Bohman from the BloodCenter of Wisconsin says they still have their extra incentive or reward for donating, which is a ticket to the Wisconsin Valley Fair for donating blood. Donors can go to the Rothschild Village Hall from 12:30 until 5:30 p.m. All blood types are needed.
Walk ins are welcome, but donors are encouraged to call to make appointments. You can call 888-310-7555 to set up a time. Bohman says it takes about an hour.
