Marshfield school board primary election Tuesday

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAU) There will be only one race on the ballot when Marshfield voters go to the polls on Tuesday.

City clerk Deb Hall says that race is a primary for two seats on the Board of Education, and according to Hall, “There’s five candidates listed on Tuesday’s ballot, voters will be only voting for two, and the top four move on to the April (general) election.”

Common Core State Standards and school funding are once again some of the hot topics being discussed by the five candidates Dorothy Chaney, Dennis Juncer, Mark Konrady, Jason Angel, and Christine Mueller.

Mark Konrady is the only incumbent on the ballot this time around since long-time school board member Frances Bohon has decided not to seek another term.
