NEW YORK (WSAU) -- Despite a difficult 2013 season, the Green Bay Packers had a strong showing at this year’s NFL Honors taking three awards back to Lambeau.

Running back Eddie Lacy was named Offensive Rookie of the Year after setting a franchise record for rushing yards in a rookie season. He is first Packer to win the award since John Brockington in 1971. Brockington had set the rookie rushing record that Lacy surpassed. Lacy recieved 35 of 50 votes for the award.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers earned the Bart Starr Award for his service and leadership in the community, becoming the first Packer to do so. He and wide receiver Randall Cobb also earned the Never Say Never Moment of the Year for their game-winning touchdown against the Chicago Bears that secured the Packer’s third consecutive NFC North division championship.
