MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAU) -- Coach Bo Ryan will have his hands on a much smaller round ball May 9th. That’s the day the Milwaukee Brewers baseball club will honor the Wisconsin Badgers Basketball team at Miller Park.

Ryan and the Badger players and staff will be recognized for their final four appearance and thirty-win season before the game. The Badger’s coach gets to throw the ceremonial first pitch.

The Brewers President of Baseball Operations & General Manager Doug Melvin said, “Bo Ryan and his team provided great excitement throughout Wisconsin and they represented our state extraordinarily well.”

The Brewers take on the Yankees in that home series. WSAU AM 550 and FM 99.9 will have the game starting with the pregame show at 6:35 p.m.
