Tomahawk area fatal crash under investigation

by

TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WSAU) - More information has been released about the crash that killed a Tomahawk woman Wednesday afternoon.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies say 51-year-old Kimberly R. Madaj was the only occupant of the car, and had to be extricated by Tomahawk Fire and Rescue. She trapped in the wreckage and died from her injuries soon after being freed. Her dog survived the crash unharmed, and is now with other family members.

Majaj went off the road on County Highway D wst of Clover Belt Road in the Town of King shortly after 3 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Investigators don’t know why she lost control and drove off the roadway.
