MARSHFEILD, Wis. (WSAU) - Marshfield’s Utility Commission has selected Bob Trussoni as the city’s new Utility manager. Commission president Wayne Johnson says Trussoni has a long track record with Marshfield Utilities, and that helped him beat out other finalists for the position. According to Johnson, “He started out in 1986 so that would be about 27 years, and he started out as a line superintendent.”
The Commission conducted a nationwide search that yielded a large pool of candidates. Johnson says the candidates were then whittled down to a final three, from which Trussoni was selected. The other two finalists were both from the Wisconsin Rapids area. Trussoni replaces long-serving Director Joe Pacovsky, who retired in early July. Trussoni has been serving as interim manager since that time.
