- BUDAPEST, HUNGARY (LEARFIELD-WSAU) A wrestler from northern Wisconsin took third place yesterday at the World Wrestling Championships in Budapest Hungary.
Alyssa Lampe of Tomahawk won a bronze medal in the women's freestyle. She pinned Melanie LeSaffre of France in just 46 seconds in the 105-and-a-half-pound weight class.
Lampe won her first match at the world meet before falling to Eri Tosaka of Japan. Lampe then won three matches in a row to take third. She also took third a year ago at the world meet at 112-and-a-quarter pounds
