TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WSAU) - Rev up those Hogs and make the run to Tomahawk today for the Fall Ride.
It's the 32nd Annual Ride, and the event takes over the Northwoods for a weekend. Tamra Anderson with the Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce says the origins of the Ride are a little hazy. "I haven't been here long enough to know exactly how it started, but I do know that everyone works together to try and put on a great event."
Anderson says the big events kick off tonight. "The Thunder Parade starts off at Tomahawk High School, lineup starts at 5pm and the Parade starts at 6. That goes on a long run throughout the community and ends downtown."
The event can bring in 35,000 to 50,000 to the area each year and is the largest fundraiser for MDA in northern Wisconsin.
