Toby Keith 's Oklahoma Twister Relief concert raised about $2 million for the United Way of Central Oklahoma's efforts to help those affected by last May's deadly storms. The show took place July 6 in Norman, OK with performances from Garth Brooks , Trisha Yearwood , Willie Nelson and more. Carrie Underwood also participated via satellite from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. More than 60,000 fans attended the sold out show.
The money raised will go directly to tornado victims in Toby's hometown of Moore, OK and the surrounding areas. Donations to the relief effort are still being accepted at UnitedWayOKC.org .
