MILWAUKEE, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez is one of three National League Golden Glove finalists.
The 27-year-old center fielder had quite a season, batting .284 with 24 home runs and 73 R-B-Is. If Gomez wins, it will end a 31-year drought of a Golden Glove winner for the club (Robin Yount, shortstop).
The other three finalist include Pittsburgh’s Andrew McCutchen and Washington’s Denard Span. Winners will be announced on Tuesday night.
