WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) - A Wisconsin Rapids woman involved in an August 29th traffic crash is facing several drunk driving-related criminal charges.
21-year-old Maci Siems struck a utility pole shortly before 2:00 a.m. at Pepper Avenue and 7th Street, injuring herself and three passengers. One of the passengers was badly hurt, with a possible punctured lung, skull fracture, facial injuries, and two broken ankles.
Investigators claim Siems was operating with a blood alcohol content that was more than twice the legal limit at point-184.
Electronic court records show Siems is now free on a $2,000 signature bond awaiting her next court appearance. On Thursday, Judge Gregory Potter also ordered Siems to remain sober and not enter establishments that serve alcohol.
The next court date has not been scheduled.
