Luke Bryan usually brings in about a million dollars for every concert he performs on his Dirt Road Diaries tour, but he didn't make a dime playing a small, intimate show Wednesday night in Augusta, GA. According to the Augusta Chronicle , Luke entertained 200 guests at a fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Georgia to help renovate their camp for children undergoing medical treatments.
Luke has a very personal connection to the Children's Hospital of Georgia. His son, Bo , underwent surgery at that hospital when he was just five weeks old. The boy was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis, which makes the opening of the stomach thicken and close. The surgery corrected the problem, and Luke is grateful to Children's Hospital of Georgia for taking excellent care of his son.
He says, "Pyloric is, once you figure out what it is, it’s very treatable, a very easy thing,” Bryan said. “I just know how reassuring the doctors and staff were here.”
Luke gets back to his Dirt Road Diaries tour with sold-out shows at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena Friday and Saturday night.
