by

TOMAHAWK, Wis. (WSAU) - An early morning crash Saturday in Lincoln County killed the driver. Deputies were called at 1:38 a.m. to Highway 51 north of mile marker 223 after another motorist found a vehicle on its side with debris scattered on the highway.

The southbound car driven by 34-year-old Kevin H. Eggebrecht went into the median and overturned about 200 feet later, briefly becoming airborne and landing on the northbound pavement. Eggebrecht wore a seatbelt, but was pronounced dead at the scene.
