The Voice season three winner Cassadee Pope releases her debut country album, Frame by Frame , this week. That album title came to her randomly during a massage, and she immediately knew Frame by Frame captured the full scope of the project.

Cassadee tells ABC News Radio, "I thought this album really is like a story, and it's all these beautiful moments captured in time. It's pain. It's happiness. It's sadness, and all these things that create this picture show. So, I thought it was pretty fitting."

The lead single from the project is "Wasting All These Tears," an anthem about finally getting past the pain of a breakup. Cassadee related to those lyrics since she's experienced a deep heartbreak or two herself.

She says of the song, "It's about hope and about choosing to move on from something and leave somebody behind that's just not good for you. It's an emotional roller coaster, that song. But it's really powerful."

Fans have turned "Wasting All These Tears" into a big digital seller, and Cassadee is relieved to be embraced into the country music community. Since she has a background in the pop and rock worlds, Cassadee knows she probably wouldn't have gotten the chance to cross into country without her exposure from The Voice .

"I think I really found myself on that show, and without it, I don't know if I would have done this genre," Cassadee admits. "I don't know if I would have had the confidence to just go for it. So, I feel like on the show, I got that validation. Like, the country world really embraced me and accepted me."
