Taylor Swift has a big weekend ahead in Nashville starting with the Saturday morning opening of the Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Taylor donated $4 million for the center, making it the single-largest donation from an artist in the Country Music Hall of Fame's 46-year history. The Taylor Swift Education Center will feature classrooms and a learning lab as well as a children's exhibit gallery to open next year.
Taylor's weekend in Nashville closes out Sunday night as she picks up her sixth songwriter/artist of the year award from the Nashville Songwriters Association International. She now surpasses five-time winners Alan Jackson and Vince Gill to have the most songwriter/artist of the year wins from that organization. That honor will be presented at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony at the Music City Center in Nashville.
