Bucks Begin Exhibition Season Tonight

CLEVELAND, OHIO (LEARFIELD-WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks will open their N-B-A exhibition season tonight in Cleveland against the Cavaliers.  Coach Larry Drew expects his younger players to get a lot of time on the floor.  Otherwise, he's not sure who will play.

Drew says it's important for all the Bucks to get comfortable with each other, and with his system.  Only center Zaza Pachulia has played for Drew before in Atlanta -- and Pachulia is out tonight with bursitis that followed off-season surgery on his right Achilles' tendon.

Forward Carlos Delfino will also miss tonight's game with a broken bone in his right foot.  Second-year forward Khris Middleton has been working through an ankle injury, and center Ekpe Udoh sat out of contact drills yesterday with swelling in his right knee.

O-J Mayo and Brandon Knight are expected to be Milwaukee's starting guards tonight, with Caron Butler and Ersan Ilyasova at the forwards, and Larry Sanders in the middle.

Drew has set a goal for the Bucks to shoot 46-percent from the floor this season.  They shot 43-and-a-half percent a year ago, third-worst among the 30 N-B-A teams.
