GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAU) -- Wisconsin Public Service officials are reminding hunters to be safe out in the woods this weekend.

WPS work crews are still out in the woods trying to restore power to remote areas in the state and will be out clearing fallen branches and trees knocked over in this week's wind storms. Safety crews remind hunters that they should not be attempting to fix issues around downed power lines themselves and to leave that to the professionals.

If you do come across downed lines while out in the woods, mark where you are, and call WPS at 800-450-7240.
