WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WSAU) -- Wisconsin Rapids Police have arrested a man and confiscated a large amount of drugs and money.
This happened Thursday, as a search warrant was executed on the city’s west side. They seized 64 grams of Crack Cocaine with a street value of around $6,400.00, along with over $3,000.00 cash.
The man arrested is in the Wood County Jail on a probation hold. Investigators have asked the District Attorney to charge him with 4 Counts of Delivery of Cocaine, 1 Count Delivery of Heroin, Felony Fleeing an Officer, and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Deliver.
Police say they have been working on this investigation for a while, and it was important to shut down this dealer and get these drugs off the street.
