Name released in Marathon County death investigation

by

GALLOWAY, Wis. (WSAU) -- The name of the woman found dead in the sleeper bunk of a semi truck near Galloway Thursday has been released. She was 43-year-old Cynthia Lozier from the Galloway area.

Marathon County Sheriff’s detectives are continuing to investigate her death, which was discovered shortly before 4:00 a.m. Thursday when the driver of the truck parked in a lot next to Jen and Tonic’s Bar on Highway 49, and checked the bunk.

Lozier’s body has been sent to Madison for an autopsy and toxicology tests, since investigators have been unable to identify the cause of death.

No foul play is suspected.
