Election day for 69th Assembly special election

UNDATED (WSAU) -- It’s election day for people of the 69th Assembly District. That’s the seat vacated by former Majority Leader Scott Suder, who left to take an appointment but quickly changed his mind and accepted a private business position instead.

Stratford businessman Bob Kulp won the primary election over Alanna Feddick, Tommy Dahlen, and Scott Noble. Kulp is facing Neillsville Democrat Ken Slezak and former Democrat turned Independent Tim Swiggum of Owen.

The 69th Assembly district includes portions of Wood, Clark and Marathon Counties, including a majority of the city of Marshfield.

The polls close at 8:00 p.m.
