ANTIGO, Wis. (WSAU) -- An Antigo man accused of shooting at cars and buildings earlier this month was in court Monday.
26-year-old Cory Myers was arrested after officers investigated damage to four vehicles and a business. He’s accused of firing bullets into the CoVantage Credit Union building in Antigo and the other targets November 12th. Investigators studied the bullets and the trajectory of the shots, and figured out they were fired from Myers’ upstairs apartment window. Police seized hundreds of .22 caliber bullets, a Chinese SKS rifle, an AR-15 rifle, and a .45 caliber Ruger pistol.
Myers has been charged with recklessly endangering safety and criminal damage to property. He is currently free on a $2,500 cash bond. A preliminary hearing has been set for December 30th in Langlade County court.
