Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are country music's most well-known couple, and they intend to stay that way. They maintain that recent rumors claiming they're set to divorce are not true.
Faith declares to People magazine that she and Tim are "absolutely not" breaking up. She says, "[Rumors] seem to be running like crazy right now for some reason. It's perplexing."
Faith laments, "I don't know why 'happy' can't be a story."
Tim says the couple is used to such rumors: "We've been married 17 years, and since the first week we were married those things were out." He says he and Faith only think about the reports when it affects their three daughters, but he says the kids tend to laugh them off.
Faith had more to say on the speculation to Entertainment Tonight in an interview airing Monday: "It's unfortunate, I don't know why happiness doesn't sell, I don't know why tragedy sells and untruth sells but again you just have to stop buying the stuff.”
Though Tim and Faith are in a happy marriage, they don't plan to expand their family. She says, “No more kids…Actually before we got married, that's how we knew…we talked about five [children] and then we made it to three.”
Tim and Faith continue to work side by side with their Soul2Soul show in Las Vegas.
