WAUSAU, WI (WTAQ) - Governor Scott Walker says he's not in a big hurry to decide whether the Menominee Indian tribe should get its proposed Hard Rock casino in Kenosha.

After a speech in Wausau Wednesday, the Republican Walker did not say when he'll make-and-announce his decision.

Walker said earlier this week that he's taking a fresh look at the Menominee's offer to compensate other tribes for their casino losses which result from the Kenosha facility.

He told Wausau reporters quote, "This project has been before the Bureau of Indian Affairs at the federal government for 20 years -- and I've got considerable time as governor to take this matter up, and fully consider the implications of it."
