MADISON (WSAU) The Badgers hockey team gave up a goal just 30-seconds into their game against 12th ranked Lake Superior State. They trailed by 3-goals at the end of the first period before rallying back to a 3-3 tie.
The Badgers rebounded after two blowout losses in Boston two weeks ago.
The Badgers got the tying goal with less than two minutes remaing from Tyler Barnes. Barnes scored earlier in the 3rd period to get the Badgers within a goal.
Wisconsin improves to 2-2-1 for the season, and plays Lake Superior State again Saturday night at 7pm from the Kohl Center.
Alex Globke kicked off the scoring after just 33 seconds of action, lighting the lamp by deflecting Matt Bruneteau's shot from just inside the blue line.
