Lincoln County officials looking for missing meth lab operator

MERRILL, WI (WSAU) - Lincoln County officials are still looking for man accused of operating meth labs in Town of Corning.

State and local officials have been running long term investigations in the county, and arrested 36-year-old Christopher Meindel in connection with a dump site that was found the week of May 7th. Meindel then absconded after signing a signature bond on four felony counts related to the manufacture of meth. He had been called into the probation offices to take a drug tests, but fled from officers.

Police believe Meindel may have traveled to the Baraboo area, because he had been looking for work there. He may also have cut off an electronic monitoring bracelet.

He is described as 5’10, 170 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He has multiple tattoos on both arms.
