MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - One of Wisconsin’s best-known political pollsters will stay at Marquette permanently.
Charles Franklin was a political science professor at UW Madison for two decades.
Last year, he was a visiting professor at Marquette – and the Milwaukee Jesuit school said Thursday that his appointment will be full-time.
For almost a year-and-a-half, Franklin and his team from the Marquette Law School have developed a number of statewide polls on various political races and issues.
Franklin is also the co-founder of Pollster.com, which offers non-partisan analysis. He’s also an elected fellow with the Society for Political Methodology.
The next Marquette poll is due out Tuesday.
