BLACK RIVER FALLS, WI (WTAQ) - A rural Black River Falls woman is due in court on Monday, after she allegedly threatened Scott Walker’s family in a phone call to the governor’s office.
52-year-old Dana Sartor is charged in Jackson County with a misdemeanor count of making a telephone threat.
Prosecutors said a woman called the Republican Walker’s office on April 16th and left a voice message in which she said she was, “Gonna shoot your wife and kids.”
The Capitol Police traced the call to Sartor’s home.
A criminal complaint said Sartor admitted the call, but she meant no harm. She also told officers that she recently wrote Governor Walker, to say he was doing a good job.
Prosecutors said Sartor denied being intoxicated at the time of the message.
