MARYVALE, WI (WSAU) Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Logan Schafer appears to have made the roster. While no official word will come down until the end of spring training, manager Ron Roenicke says barring "something silly", Schafer will be on the opening day roster.

The skilled 26-year-old Californian outfielder will likely play backup to Carlos Gomez, Ryan Braun or Norichika Aoki - which could mean limited playing time - if he does make the final roster for opening day.   Plenty of roster shuffling for the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. The Brewers have signed Yuniesky Betancourt. General manager Doug Melvin says he will be on site today for a physical.

Meanwhile, Taylor Green has been added to the 15-day disabled list with a left hip injury. Melvin says Jeff Bianchi may also be on the list soon with a hip injury. Right-handed pitcher Mark Rodgers was also added to the 15-day with a right shoulder problem.
