YORKVILLE, WI (WTAQ) - The Federal Aviation Administration reports it is considering possible action against a pilot who crash-landed his plane on Interstate 94 in Racine County last October.
Experts say he was flying in weather which left other pilots questioning his decision.
Pilot Keith George overshot the runway at Sylvania Airport in Yorkville and ended up on the interstate. His passenger was injured.
George told a federal investigator the weather was substantially clear as he flew from Jackson, Michigan.
Other pilots said they couldn’t believe he was flying in the weather conditions which existed in the region that day.
