MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) - Former Milwaukee County Walker aide Tim Russell will have to wait a month to find out how much he owes from his embezzlement conviction.
A court hearing on his restitution was delayed Thursday, because none of his victims could show up. The hearing was re-set for April 26th.
The 49-year-old Russell appeared by video from prison, where he’s serving two years for stealing from an annual program that saluted Wisconsin veterans.
The defense has offered $22,000 in restitution, but prosecutors say it should be more.
Governor Scott Walker put Russell in charge of the program when Walker was the Milwaukee County executive.
