WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - Two people are being cited after a chain reaction crash on Grand Avenue involving a Metro Ride Bus.
Police say the crash happened around 10:30 am on Wednesday when two cars ran into the back of a bus stopped near the Police Department on Grand Avenue. The bus driver told police that the middle car stopped directly behind the bus, and the third car failed to stop, causing the chain reaction.
No injuries were reported in either car or the bus. The driver of the middle car was cited for driving with a suspended license, and the driver of the car that caused the crash was cited for inattentive driving.
