Powerball jackpot jumps to $260M for Wednesday

MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The Powerball jackpot is at $260 million for Wednesday night.

Nobody won the top prize on Saturday.

Wisconsin had one third-prize winner. A ticket sold in Wilmot won $10,000 by matching four regular numbers plus the Powerball.

Just over 21,000 players in the Badger State won smaller prizes. Saturday's numbers were 3, 7, 21, 44, and 53. The Powerball was 16.

The current jackpot has been building since February 6th, and has rolled over 11 times.

It's the highest since last November 28th, when players in Arizona and Missouri shared a Powerball-record $587.5 million jackpot.

Wednesday's cash option is just over $161 million.

In Mega Millions, the top prize is $13 million for Tuesday night.
