Buying a souvenir t-shirt at a concert is so 2012. Taylor Swift fans now have the opportunity to purchase a limited-edition pair of Keds sneakers at each tour stop.
Taylor announced a partnership with Keds last year, but now the company has signed on as a sponsor of Taylor's RED tour, which kicked off last week. The red, limited-edition Champion sneakers are decorated with the names of each city on the tour, and feature a silver heart charm with "13" -- Taylor's lucky number. At each venue where the tour stops, Keds has a "Style Studio," where fans can check out the kicks in person and get exclusive access to ordering.
In addition, at each tour stop, girls will be encouraged to share their stories of self-confidence and friendship, and the videos will be featured on Bravehearts.com, a Keds website devoted to helping girls live their lives to the fullest.
In a statement, the president of Keds said, "The tour shoe is the first of its kind and is a really unique memento of the concert experience. We can't wait to meet our fans, hear stories from Keds girls across the country on what makes them brave, and help inspire as many girls as possible to be fearless."
Keds will also be running giveaways, including seat upgrades and backstage tours. Visit Keds' Facebook page and Twitter page to find out how you can score these prizes.
