WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - The Never Forgotten Honor Flight is still looking for World War Two veterans hoping to see the nation's capital.

The Honor Flight program has 4 more flights scheduled this year, and organizer Jim Campbell says they're hoping to get every WWII veteran who wants to see the memorials a chance to go. "They go right to the head of the list, ahead of the 400 Korea vets and 100 Vietnam vets that are on the list." The upcoming flight in April has 40 WWII vets signed up, and after that, the committee will start sending Korean War veterans again.

Campbell says they can't thank the community enough for helping to fund these flights and the Honor Flight Program. "We've got 4 more flights and they're all filled." Campbell thanks all the volunteers and committee members as well who help to prepare and lead the flights to Washington DC.

The flights are 100 percent donation funded, and take veterans along with caretakers to Washington DC for a day's tour of the capital and the war memorials built in the veterans' honor.

If you have a family member who should be heading out on the flights, contact the Never Forgotten Honor Flight at http://www.neverforgottenhonorflight.org/
