Sex offender to be released in Stevens Point


STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) -  A convicted sex offender will soon be released in Stevens Point. 29-year-old Phillip A. Eggers has completed his prison term, and will be under extended supervision on or about March 19th.

Eggers will be on electronic monitoring, and will be required to follow strict rules including having no contact with minors and no consumption of alcohol or drugs.

No unsupervised contact with minors; No taverns/bars/liquor stores; No contact withvictim; Not to consume alcohol or drugs.2. Comply with standard sex offender rules; cooperate with electronic monitoring.3. Face to face contact with law enforcement required; comply with all requirements andlifetime registrant of WI sex offender registration program.
