Some roads slick Sunday

by

RHINELANDER, WI  (WSAU)  -  Many highways in northern Wisconsin have scattered slippery stretches as of mid-afternoon Sunday.  Motorists are urged to use caution, as road surfaces are wet in many areas, with that moisture freezing in others.

Oneida County Sheriff's deputies are reported hazardous driving conditions Sunday morning.  Dense fog reduced visibility for much of the region, making travel more challenging.  Sheriff Grady Hartman is recommending motorists to use extreme caution, and to avoid any unnecessary travel.

The Wisconsin State Patrol reports scattered slippery stretches on many roads north of Highway 29.
