RACINE, WI (WTAQ) - A 60 year old Racine man will be sentenced next June after pleading guilty to two counts of election fraud.

Mark Demet admitted falsely signing the names of other people on recall petitions aimed at state Senator Van Wanggaard, a Republican from Racine.

In exchange for the plea, prosecutors dropped 7 charges against Demet.

He has reportedly also been under investigation in neighboring Kenosha County, though formal charges have not been filed there yet.
