Hunter Hayes Can't Avoid Change in His Live Shows

Hunter Hayes ' fans love his live shows so much they often see him multiple times in any given year. It seems the only person who isn't satisfied with Hunter's concerts, is Hunter himself.

During his recent stint as the opening act on Carrie Underwood 's Blown Away tour, Hunter admits he constantly changed his set list, trying to keep the show fresh for himself and his fans. When the tour resumed earlier this year after a holiday break, Hunter thought he had devised a way to avoid changing his show on the fly.

He tells ABC News Radio, "On the second half we created this matrix of set lists. There were like, five, and we were like, 'OK, we're going to alternate through them, we're going to rotate.' We never did. We played the first one. It was like, 'Well, that felt great.'"

While Hunter and his band loved that song order, they continued to change elements of the show until the tour wrapped up last month in Canada. Hunter has now accepted that his set lists will probably evolve some more during his Let's Be Crazy tour launching this fall.  He says, "More often than not, something's gonna change, always."

Hunter is playing fairs and festivals all summer long. Check out his tour dates at HunterHayes.com .
