GLEASON, WI (WSAU) - A Gleason man wanted by the law since 2011 was captured Tuesday evening. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department deputies took 49-year-old Timothy Lee Tutor into custody at 6:00 p.m.
Tutor was wanted for felony child support violations, and was nearly caught Friday, but officers and the K9 unit lost his trail.
When deputies stopped at Tutor’s house to check for him, they were told by his 20-year-old daughter Heather Tutor that she hasn’t seen him since Friday. That’s when deputies saw Timothy Tutor running to escape behind the house. Timothy Tutor surrendered to officers after they drew a tazer on him.
Timothy Tutor was arrested on the warrant. Deputies suspect that Probation and Parole may add an absconding charge for being on the run so long. He also had a marijuana pipe in his pocket when arrested, and faces an additional charge of possession of paraphernalia. Heather Tutor is being charged with obstructing an officer for lying about her dad’s whereabouts.
Timothy Tutor was also in violation of probation, so he is not likely to be released on bond... but that will be up to Probation and Parole as well as the judge.
