WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) Former high school girls basketballl coach Rory McKellips and his wife Constance are facing new charges related two his sexual assualt case. The two are being charged with perjury and Rory McKellips also faces a felony bail-jumping charge.
The charges were brought after authorities received a tip that the two had lied under oath about his genital grooming. That had been used as part of his defense in the original case.
McKellips was convicted of using a computer to facilitate a sex crime and obstruction but found not guilty of the more serious sexual assault charges. He was accused of having repeated sexual contact with one of his former players when he coached at Athens High School.
Both could face 6 years in prison if convicted on the perjury charges.
