PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WSAU) - A Wisconsin couple face child endangerment charges after leaving their child inside a hot car in Libertyville Illinois.

The couple was shopping inside a sex toy store when they left their 9 month old son in the car without the air conditioning on. When the child was found, he was overheated and crying, but did not suffer any long term injury.

The couple, a 18 year old man from Kenosha and 20 year old woman from Pleasant Prairie told police they left the child in the car because no one under the age of 18 is allowed inside the store.

They'll be back in court August 2.
